Hoisin pork Stir Fry with Broccoli

Hoisin Pork Stir Fry
Serves: 3 or 4
 
also good with chicken, served with udon noodles -just stir in to heat them up or serve with rice
Ingredients
  • 1 lb pork, cut into thin strips
  • 1 T finely chopped garlic
  • 2 T finely chopped ginger
  • 1 large head of broccoli,cut in small florets, peel stem and slice up too
  • 1 red pepper cut in strips
  • 1 onion cut in wedges
  • ¼ c soy sauce
  • ¼ c hoisin sauce
  • 2 T rice wine vinegar
  • 1 T sesame oil
  • 1 T Korean red pepper paste
  • 1 c boiling water
  • 1 chicken cube
  • 1 T cornstarch stirred into a little cold water
Instructions
  1. Fry up pork in a little oil with ginger and garlic
  2. When almost done stir in onions, peppers and broccoli, fry about 2 min
  3. Mix remaining ingredients and add to meat mixture cook til thickened about 5 min
