Braised Red Cabbage
Serves: 4
  • MELT 1 tbsp butter in a large saucepan over medium-high. Add ½ large red cabbage, thinly sliced (about 6 cups). Cook, stirring occasionally, until it starts to soften, 3 to 4 min.
  • STIR in ½ cup apple cider or juice, ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp honey and ½ tsp salt. Season with fresh pepper. Cover and continue cooking until tender, 9 to 10 min.
