Maple sauce for Raspberry upside down cake
 
I don’t really have a recipe for this just guess usually but this looks OK
Ingredients
  • ⅓ c brown sugar
  • 1T cornstarch
  • 2 T cold water
  • ⅓ c maple syrup
  • ¾ c water
  • 1 T butter
  • dash salt
Instructions
  1. Mix sugar and cornstarch thoroughly; add cold water and stir to a thin paste; add to hot water.
  2. Cook (i usually cook in micro wave) til no taste of raw starch; add butter.
  3. If you don’t want to use the maple syrup, use ⅔ c brown sugar (the dark brown is better) and add ½ t vanilla at end.
