Hoisin Pork Stir Fry
Serves: 3 or 4
also good with chicken, served with udon noodles -just stir in to heat them up or serve with rice
Ingredients
- 1 lb pork, cut into thin strips
- 1 T finely chopped garlic
- 2 T finely chopped ginger
- 1 large head of broccoli,cut in small florets, peel stem and slice up too
- 1 red pepper cut in strips
- 1 onion cut in wedges
- ¼ c soy sauce
- ¼ c hoisin sauce
- 2 T rice wine vinegar
- 1 T sesame oil
- 1 T Korean red pepper paste
- 1 c boiling water
- 1 chicken cube
- 1 T cornstarch stirred into a little cold water
Instructions
- Fry up pork in a little oil with ginger and garlic
- When almost done stir in onions, peppers and broccoli, fry about 2 min
- Mix remaining ingredients and add to meat mixture cook til thickened about 5 min
